Sorta good update!

Okay, so yeah – I’ve been promising to re-draw this for about a year, and finally here it is.  If you’re interested in seeing why I was so on about re-drawing it, you can look at the old one here (omg omg wtf, right?).

Original Blog Post:

Welcome!  If you’re the sort of person who likes reading about how comics come to be, you’re in luck – I’m sort of compulsive about telling people those sorts of things.

The story behind Middleways has been in my head for a few years now, though it’s gone through some major revisions in the months I’ve been preparing to put this comic out.  I thought at first I would try writing it and submitting it as a novel, but after a lot of soul searching, I decided it made more sense to tell the story in comic format.

Shortly after coming to that decision, I started drawing again after a ten-year-or-so hiatus, and I’m aware it shows.  Heh.  All I can really say about that is to quote Jake the dog:  “Dude, sucking at something is the first step toward being sorta good at something.”

I think you’ll like the story, and I promise the artwork will get better with time.

At least sorta good.
